- Preferred Energy, Inc. (PEI) and the World
Bank-ESMAP will hold the "Power to the People: A Conference on
Community-based Village Power Financing and Incubator Services for
Off-Grid Areas" today, June 21, in the Hotel Intercontinental in
Makati, Metro Manila. The conference will make a case study
presentation of the Pilot Project in Barangay Bagong Bayan, Roxas,
Palawan. This is an integrated energy and livelihood project
